Remote Learning at Linton Primary School

We would much rather be altogether in school however, we know that in order to stay safe there will be times when this just isn’t possible. It is our aim whilst we are apart for the children to carry on receiving as high a quality educational experience as possible and remain in touch with school staff and the rest of their classmates.

We know this won’t always be plain sailing; there will be times when it will be challenging for us all but we’ll persevere and work together to overcome any hurdles along the way!

If you need support please get in contact as soon as possible so we can try our best to help.

What is remote education and what does it look like at our school?

Remote education is a broad term encompassing any learning that happens outside of the classroom, with the teacher not present in the same location as the pupils.

At Linton Primary School we offer a range of remote learning approaches in order to continue the delivery of our tailored curriculum. Some of our teaching will be live online and some will be tasks the children are directed to undertake independently. Paper based packs will be distributed where appropriate.

As school closure can happen with very little notice please bear with us. It might take us a day or two to make sure everyone has what they need. In the meantime please read and share stories with your child, practice times tables and get them moving by including some physical activity in their day.

Devices and Technology

If your child does not have a suitable device at home to use for remote learning, please get in touch and let us know as soon as possible. If you are struggling with internet access or data we may also be able to help so let us know.
