Safeguarding

Linton Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and wellbeing of the children and those who work with them in our school.  We expect all who enter the premises to share this commitment and treat everyone with respect.

We have a duty to act responsibly when we are concerned about a child's welfare and well being.

We do this by:-

* Preventing unsuitable people working with our children.

* Promoting safe working and facilities.

* Identifying instances where there are grounds for concern about a child's welfare and taking appropriate action to keep them safe.

* Working in partnership with outside agencies who provide services for children.

Our designated teacher for child protection is Mrs S. Mason, with Mrs R. Robertson acting  in this role in her absence.
