Science

Pupils are given a range of experiences to enable them to ask and answer questions about the world around them. They use knowledge learned in Key Stage 1 to decide upon the most appropriate type of enquiry to answer questions, understand and use fair testing, group, sort, classify and use simple keys.

Pupils are given the opportunity to look for patterns and relationships through observation and data. They use a range of equipment including digital thermometers, data loggers and cameras to collect information.
