Design & Technology

We plan activities that develop creative, technical and practical expertise needed to perform tasks confidently. They design and make products, testing and evaluating our work. In Key Stage 2 we encourage the children to be resourceful and critical, evaluating their own work and that of others. They work across and range of contexts which are linked to our topic themes.

They also learn about the principles of nutrition and prepare simple meals as part of their food technology work.
